Jaden turns 9 on June 30th but he decided he wanted his party this weekend, so with two days notice we organised it. I had energy yesterday but none today so we just had chips and dip and then for the first time ever we bought him a cake. He wanted an ice cream cake which was so good! My cakes certainly can't compare with that.
Jaden's biggest fear was that Pumpkin would be born and he couldn't have a birthday party, so at least that didn't happen. There is still time for her to be born on his actual birthday which would upset him a lot!
Jaden's best friend Garrett, Kirsten's friend Skylar and our neighbours, as well as the kids cousins all came so the pool was full. Jaden got some great presents and some money, so he had a good day. Garrett is staying the night so that was an added bonus for Jaden.
Pappa and Teffi got him a proper scuba mask and flippers, so now he won't have to get the marks on his lips which make him look like he has a French moustache!
