It has poured with rain all day so we have being doing fun things inside. Adam got home from his nightshift at 11am and spent time with the kids until about 1pm when he was just so tired from his 36 hour day that he had to go to bed.
Kirsten spent ages playing with Nicolas and as usual they ended up fighting. They both wanted to sit in Adison's carry cot.
We played Monopoly and made cupcakes and biscuits (the american savory kind). The kids loved making the biscuits because we used cookie cutters to make dog bone shaped biscuits, hearts, stars and flowers. Mom and Dad had sent the cupcakes from England and they had little animal shapes to go with them. Nicolas has got the box out of the cupboard everyday since he found it about two weeks ago and tells me the name of the animals each time, so he was very glad to make them at last. They tasted good.
