Growing up we never put up the tree until a couple of weeks before Christmas but for the last couple of years we have put the tree up just after Thanksgiving. That way the kids are still off school and Adam can come with us, and it means that it gives me longer to get excited for Christmas.
Adam has the best eye for a good tree and we both agree that it's worth the cost to buy a real one so you get the smell in the house of pine trees. Also because Adam doesn't vacuum, he doesn't care about the pine needles dropping!
We tried to take a cute photo of the kids in front of the trees but Adison wasn't cooperating!
She was happy to sit in the car shaped cart and be pushed around though. Nicolas is pointing to a tiny plane he spotted thousands of feet up in the sky. I knows that Granny and Grandpa are coming soon so he has to check if they are every plane he sees in the sky.
Our tree is beautiful and the kids had great fun decorating it. I put up all the other decorations and they get to do the tree, anything more is just too stressful for me!
