Thanksgiving at Jon and Tori's

My wonderful brother and sister in law hosted Thanksgiving this year. Adam and I did it last year and it was fun but I was glad to have a year off!
Adam's Mom, stepdad and little sister came down from NC and so did his grandparents, so it was a wonderful family get together. Unfortunately Jaden and Kirsten were at their Grandma's, but there were more than enough kids there to make up for their absence!

Jon and Tori were the perfect hosts in spite of Tori being up at the crack of dawn baking wonderful desserts for us!
Adam is now the expert carver and did the honors with both turkeys.
Tori's Dad made their table years ago and Jon restored it, and as it seats at least 10, it's the perfect table for the Woodalls.
Adison didn't take a nap but was still a little sweet heart......as long as no one tried to pick her up!! She still hates people to pick her up other than me, Adam or Ms Brenda at church. They can't move her out of the nursery because once she is away from Brenda she screams! She'll probably be the only 4 year old still with the babies. I know she'll grow out of it so I'm not too worried.
Adam's Nana still looks amazing and his Pop is still working 30 hours a week at the age of 84!

Adam's brother James and my soon to be sister in law Sarah.
Nicolas loved being with his cousins and running around outside, even though it was pretty cold.

Adison now wrinkles up her nose when she smiles, just like Nicolas and Kirsten used to do.
The highlight of Thanksgiving for Nicolas was the arrival of the neighbor's cat. He's never seen a cat up close, let alone petted on before, so he and Adison just followed this cat round and round. Luckily it was friendly.

Thanksgiving is still not a holiday that is particularly special to me, but Adam loves it and having had four real Thanksgivings and developing traditions with the kids, it gets better each year. This year was wonderful thanks to Jon and Tori's hard work and having Adam's Mom and Grandparents here.
