Nicolas Photo Updates

Nicolas is totally back to normal now and has unwillingly accepted that he can't live the rest of his life just eating ice cream and icing!

This was a week after his surgery and the skin was healing really well.

We bought him some moon sand as our special present to him and he loves it. I get at least 15-20 minutes and sometime more when they will sit happily and play with it. Adison especially loves it because she's not tempted to eat it, like she is with play doh, but she can still mould it.

In the last few days Nicolas has bumped his lip a couple of times and it's swelled up a little bit and bled slightly. When I look at these pictures from last week he looks better to me than he does now. His right side is looking great but the left looks like the scar will be quite wide. Still it's better than where it pulled up higher before.

We bought Adison some new shoes as she's grown out of Nicole's adorable pink shoes. She doesn't have baby feet anymore, it almost looks like she has clown shoes on. They are very cute though so Nicolas decided to wear his favorite footwear, his red wellies, to compliment her new shoes! She also has on her birthday dress from Auntie Yvette!

The picture below was taken last Friday when he was asleep. You can see just how many stitches there are to heal under his lip. It looks really yukky because it doesn't have chance to dry. Also he'd woken us up that morning screaming and covered in blood (I'd washed his sheets the day before of course!). We think his mouth got crusty and stuck together in the night and when he woke up, it pulled the scabs off and blead. It wasn't a fun thing to wake up to poor little boy. He's so brave but goes funny at the sight of his blood.

Adam put him to bed one night and fell asleep too. I love pictures of people sleeping, especially my angel boys.
