Because I've been cleaning a lot for the last week or so I wanted to take the kids somewhere fun. We have a zoo pass, so it feels like it's free. Jaden and Kirsten were with their Mom so they missed out, but it was a quiet, relaxed visit.
Both kids were tired and all Nicolas wanted to do was ride on the train, so it wasn't one of our best visits.
We did get to see a bird show which was fun. The birds are all trained to swoop around the audience's heads, which was a bit too close for comfort a couple of times.
The kids liked it though.

Then we went on the train, which is all Nicolas cares about really. It was good to see Tori and get excited about her trip to India.
Thankfully both kids like sheep, but Nicolas thinks they are smelling, which isn't a good sign for when we go and see Grandpa's sheep.
After a couple of hours we were done as it was so hot. The zoo is definately better in the cooler months.
