Mom and Dad's Trip to TN

We set off at 6am to miss the Atlanta traffic and drove the 2 1/2 hours to Chattanooga to meet my friend Yvette (who is also Mom's goddaughter) and her children. We got there at 8:30am and Mom and Dad treated me to a Panera breakfast (a yummy place that sells all kinds of pastries, muffins and coffees). It was freezing and we thawed out and relaxed until Yvette and the children met us.

After breakfast we went to the Discovery center which the children love. We went there in August with Yvette, and Nicolas was a little bit too young to appreciate most of the exibitions, but he loved it this time as he could crawl around. He was really good considering he'd been up since 6am, but half way through feeding him his lunch he just fell asleep!

It was so good to see Yvette after only a few months and not the year or more that we usually go without seeing each other. Rachel and Nehemiah are my "benchmark" children, if Nicolas and Pumpkin can be half as polite and well behaved as they are, I will feel I've raised wonderful children!
