Nicolas at 11 1/2 Months

Nicolas is so much fun to be around. He still isn't saying anything, but babbles all the time. Since Mom and Dad arrived he is so noisey and he fake coughs all the time to get my attention. He is used to having me all to himself, so I think he feels he has to make more noise to get my attention.

He still loves playing in the leaves and sitting on the hearth as it is the perfect height for a seat for him. Mom and Dad have spent ages showing him all the Christmas decorations which he loves. He also loves trying to pull the Christmas cards down, but we have put a stop to that as he scrunches them up and then tries to eat them!!

He will walk a couple of steps but once he realises what he's doing, he just sits down.
He is still sleeping a guarenteed 12 hours which is just wonderful. Mom and Dad got him up this morning so I got to lie in bed a read until 9am which was heaven!
Nicolas is such a little flirt! He loves to wave, clap and smile for anyone who will give him attention. When he smiles his nose crinkles up just like Kirsten's does, even though their noses are totally different shapes. It's cute that he has something that is like her when most of him is more like Jaden.
Nicolas loves to open all the cupboards and drawers and take out whatever he can find. He is also very good at opening and closing doors, but gets very upset when he realises he's shut in a room and can't get out!
