My new flowerbed under the tree is finally done and it's holding up very well during the torrential thunderstorms we've had over the last few weeks. Unfortunately it doesn't do anything to stop the river that flows under the fence from the neigbor's yard.
I'm very happy with it and once the ground covers spread and more hostas come up with will be perfect.
I put new annuals in the tubs at the front and so I'm very happy with how the yard looks at the moment. Unfortunately we have a 100ft dead pine tree in the front yard that we have to have cut down before it falls on the power line or our neighbors house! I had needless expense like that.
